Working with Meester Paul

Different formats, one clear vision.

From motivated junior fencers and competitive adults to athletes building toward international tournaments and the Olympic Games. The format is decided together, in consultation. The approach starts from the talents and qualities the fencer already brings.

The separation is in the preparation.

  • One on one

    Private lesson

One student, one weapon, one strip. Technical build-up, tactical variations, mental aspects, preparation for competitions. Available in sessions of 20, 30 or 60 minutes or longer. As a standalone lesson or as a programme of several months.

  • Small groups

    Group training

A group of fencers willing to push each other on one strip. Group size, level and content are agreed in advance, so the session actually delivers for everyone in it.

  • For clubs and federations

    Camps and clinics

A day, a weekend, or a longer residency as an outside coach with a club or federation. Duration, focus and frequency are agreed in conversation.

  • At competitions

    Competition coaching

Matchside at the competition, coaching from the edge of the strip. Between bouts he reads the opponent, adjusts the plan and keeps you sharp when it counts. Price on request.
